Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times through vigilant supervision and adherence to safety protocols
- Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, play time, diaper changes, and bathroom breaks
- Support children's emotional needs by providing comfort, encouragement, and positive behavior management
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, or educators to communicate children's progress and any concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play
- Implement classroom management strategies to foster respectful interactions among children
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not already held
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus
- Strong understanding of behavior management strategies and classroom experience is beneficial
- Ability to work flexible hours on a part-time basis with reliable attendance
