Security Officer - Full Time
As a Security Officer Unarmed Roving Guard in Plainfield, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while bringing agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity to every shift.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, yard, dock areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.

Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or vehicles, verify authorized access when required, and communicate with site contacts regarding security-related concerns.

Support daily operations by documenting incidents, completing routine logs, and communicating observed hazards, maintenance issues, and/or operational disruptions to the appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
