Ellis Concrete Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial, industrial, municipal, and heavy civil concrete construction projects from start to finish. This is a leadership position for someone who thrives in the field, understands project management, and is committed to delivering safe, high-quality work on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple commercial and heavy civil concrete projects simultaneously.
- Plan and coordinate daily field operations.
- Supervise foremen, laborers, finishers, operators, and subcontractors.
- Schedule manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and project documents.
- Maintain project schedules and meet critical deadlines.
- Coordinate with owners, engineers, inspectors, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Monitor project budgets, production, and profitability.
- Review project costs and assist with forecasting.
- Prepare daily reports, production reports, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Attend project meetings and represent Ellis Concrete Construction professionally.
- Identify and resolve field issues before they impact production.
- Maintain quality control throughout each phase of construction.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2-5 years of commercial or heavy civil concrete construction experience
- 2-5 years in a Superintendent or Project Management role
- Strong knowledge of:
- Concrete paving
- Parking lots
- Foundations
- Curb & gutter
- Sidewalks
- Industrial concrete
- Municipal infrastructure
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Experience managing project schedules and budgets.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with construction management software is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

- Heavy civil concrete construction

- Commercial site development
- Change order management
- Quantity tracking and progress billing
- Equipment scheduling and production management
