Worship Leader / Instrumentalist
Part-Time | One Sunday Service Per Week | Compensation Negotiable
Seeking a dependable and spiritually mature Worship Leader / Instrumentalist individual or married couple to lead worship during our weekly Sunday morning service. We are a rural, independent, small church.
Schedule
- One service each Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
- Additional arrival and preparation time will be coordinated with church leadership.
- Occasional participation in special services or church events may be available and arranged separately.
Responsibilities
- Lead the congregation in Christ-centered worship.
- Sing and play an instrument proficiently.
- Select and prepare worship songs in coordination with church leadership.
- Provide clear musical and spiritual leadership during the service.
- Communicate consistently and arrive prepared and on time.
- Help create a worship environment that is reverent, engaging, and focused on Christ.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong vocal and instrumental ability.
- Previous or current church worship or ministry experience preferred.
- Comfortable leading both contemporary worship music and familiar hymns.
- Dependable, teachable, and able to work well with church leadership.
- A sincere Christian faith and conduct consistent with biblical values.
- Able to commit consistently to the weekly Sunday schedule.
Compensation: Negotiable based on experience, ability, and responsibilities.
