Nationwide Medical Licensing is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Compliance Specialist. This role plays a critical role in minimizing risk, maintaining regulatory compliance, improving operational accuracy, and supporting the successful completion of provider licensing and credentialing services.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and research state licensing, credentialing, and payer enrollment requirements.
- Track regulatory changes and communicate updates to the team.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and identify compliance risks or process gaps.
- Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training materials, and internal knowledge resources.
- Support and maintain operational systems, including PowerApps, SharePoint, Power BI, and other Microsoft 365 platforms.
- Analyze operational data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Assist with the development and implementation of new workflows, automations, and operational initiatives.
- Maintain compliance documentation and ensure records are accurate and up to date.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on compliance standards and operational processes.
- Collaborate with leadership on strategic projects and continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare licensing, credentialing, compliance, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience creating and maintaining SOPs, training materials, or process documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
- Experience with Microsoft 365 platforms, including SharePoint, Power BI, PowerApps, or Power Automate, preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize competing deadlines, and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience in process improvement, quality assurance, or compliance auditing preferred.
- Familiarity with healthcare licensing, credentialing, payer enrollment, or regulatory requirements preferred.
Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
