We are seeking an experienced Fire Protection Engineer to support complex building and infrastructure projects across multiple markets. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside licensed Fire Protection Engineers on projects throughout the U.S. and internationally.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Safety Technology, or related field
- 10+ years of professional Fire Protection Engineering experience
- Experience with fire sprinkler, fire suppression, fire alarm, and life safety systems
- Strong knowledge of NFPA and International Building/Fire Codes
- Experience developing engineering calculations, specifications, and construction documents
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and engineer fire sprinkler, suppression, fire alarm, and mass notification systems
- Perform building and life safety code analyses
- Develop engineering calculations, drawings, and technical documentation
- Direct and coordinate design staff and project deliverables
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Support projects across multiple industries and geographic regions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license with Fire Protection exam
- Experience with hydraulic calculation software
- Strong knowledge of NFPA and ICC codes and standards
- Willingness to travel 10-15% domestically and internationally
