Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our team in a dynamic culinary environment. This role is essential for maintaining the high standards of food preparation and cleanliness required in our kitchen. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling ingredients.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
- Support banquet services by assisting with setup, serving, and bussing tables as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food service operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a culinary or food service role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking.
