Curtis Services is looking for a Communications Operator to join our team in Orlando, FL.
Job Description:
The Curtis Security Communications Center Operator will be responsible for the following:
- Answering all incoming phone calls to the Communications Center.
- Monitor and answer all radio traffic.
- Dispatching patrol officers to calls for service.
- Monitoring PTZ camera system.
- Auditing officer reports prior to sending out to clients.
- Maintaining various logs and files and performing related clerical work.
- Must be able to exercise initiative and independent judgement to properly react and respond appropriately under very stressful conditions.
- Monitor incoming email communications and forward to appropriate departments and individuals.
The ideal candidate would have:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
- 1-2 years dispatch experience.
- Private Security Knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Programs.
- Ability to work independently and with others as needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted throughout the day.
