Quality Inspector - 1st Shift & 2nd Shift Available
The Quality Inspector position in the Wilmington, MA area offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to quality assurance activities in a dynamic environment. Pay Rate/Salary of the Quality Inspector:
$23-$26/hr
Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector:
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Develop and maintain strong internal working relationships across departments.
- Utilize hand measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers for precise measurements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Perform 100% inspections of non-conformance reports (NCRs) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications of the Quality Inspector:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required.
- 3+ years of experience in inspection within an FDA or regulated environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience with CMM operation and programming is a plus.
- 20/20 vision required, with or without corrective lenses.
