Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking for industrial laborers to work in industrial manufacturing environments. These positions are located primarily in the Portland Metro area, although some are in outlying areas (Beaverton, Hillsboro, Tualatin, Vancouver). These positions are training positions, giving a great opportunity to learn manufacturing skills.
Responsibilities:
- Complete training to operate industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Perform appropriate inspections and documentation.
- Report any quality issues to supervisor.
- Must remain safety conscious at all times with good attention to detail.
- Regularly lift 50-100 pounds as needed.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform strenuous tasks.
- Basic understanding of industrial safety protocols.
- Familiarity with basic tools and equipment used in industrial settings.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role or industry is a plus but not always required.
- Preference given to candidates who have worked in manufacturing before.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift 50 pounds repetitively and 75 pounds on occasion.
- Openness to day or swing shift.
- Proven solid attendance record and ability to report to work on time.
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
