Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, answering menu questions, and helping ensure a smooth checkout experience
- Operate the cash register (POS system) accurately during customer sales transactions, including taking orders, processing payments, and issuing receipts
- Handle cash drawer operations with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and balancing at shift’s end
- Promote featured menu items and add-ons to improve guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Ensuring all guest-facing areas at the front of the restaurant are clean, organized, and ready for service.
- Maintain phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries professionally and courteously.
- Assist guests with menu selections by sharing information about popular items, specials, and available options
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cashier or customer service roll preferred
- Supervising experience in food service or customer service roles is a plus
- Strong communication skills and Interpersonal skills; Bilingual abilities are highly valued
- Quick Basic Math Skills and Attention to Detail
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
- Knowledge of restaurant menu items
- Ability to handle cash drawer handling responsibly and maintain accurate cash handling records
- Professional etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone or in person
- Flexible Availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
