Ensuring a safe and secure living and work environment for residents and staff. Responsibilities include general repairs to homes and grounds, emergency repairs, record keeping, moving furniture and appliances.
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team! In this vital role, you will ensure the safety, functionality, and efficiency of our facilities by performing a wide range of maintenance tasks. Your expertise will keep our environment safe, comfortable, and well-maintained, supporting our mission to serve the community effectively.
Responsibilities
- Address and complete maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Communication with our Executive Director on pending status of service requests.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and inspections.
- Conduct appliance repairs and service calls for HVAC, air conditioning, refrigeration, and other mechanical systems.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and future reference.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or residents to minimize downtime and disruption.
Experience
- 3 plus years of experience in property maintenance or equivalent maintenance related field work.
- Ability to interact professionally and efficiently with vendors, residents, staff and management.
- Hands on experience within basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical, heating and air conditioning systems, landscaping and cleaning.
- Physical requirements include being able to lift up to 50lbs, climb ladders and stairs, walk between buildings and on roofs, stoop, kneel, and bend as well as have hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. EARC will pay for a physical to verify job requirements.
- Must be familiar with and adhere to all OSHA guidelines to be ensure protection of themselves and their team.
- EARC runs an OSBI background screening on all selected applicants to ensure they have never had a felony nor misdemeanor of any type to prevent employment with EARC, Inc.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
