Drywall Estimator/Project Manager
J. E. Abercrombie, Inc., the leading commercial interior specialties construction company in North Florida, is currently seeking an Estimator/Project Manager to join our team in Jacksonville, FL for a long-term career. Confidentiality will be given to those who apply.
The Estimator/Project Manager will be responsible for estimating commercial drywall and acoustical ceiling projects as well as managing pricing, submittals, material procurement, and scheduling of awarded projects.
Qualifications Include:
· Knowledge of light gauge metal framing, drywall, and acoustical systems.
· 7+ years of drywall project management and/or estimating experience. Bachelor’s degree in Building Construction is preferred.
· Proficient in reading architectural and structural blueprints.
· Must be computer literate and have experience with estimating software. Knowledge of OST & Quick Bid is a plus.
· Good verbal and written communication skills.
· Professional face to face customer interaction and sales involvement from initial contact through business closing.
· Must be able to excel under pressure and handle multiple projects at once.
