Position Title: Engineering Tech SR I
Work Location: Site/RWMC
Shift Schedule: Monday-Thursday’s, 4x10s
Salary Grade: 08 Salary Range- Min: $65,305 Mid: $83,795 Max: $102,280
Position Purpose:
- Provides mission support control functions associated with maintaining the engineering organization for RWMC.
- Ensures adherence to procedure and retention policies and safeguarding of information and ensures consistency.
- Supports the engineering assessment and drafting functions at RWMC.
- Identifies and tracks status and closure of relevant backlogged work orders.
- Provides support for D&D related projects. Includes submittal of BOM’s and tracking of sketches and related documents.
- Identifies and understands the documents and drawings for assigned systems. Provides support for complete migration of legacy documents in Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
- Assists in the preparation and review of procedures and other related documents, as applicable.
- Perform programmatic and administrative duties to the RWMC engineering department.
- Interface and provide support as needed with all levels of Project Management, Operations, Procurement, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Maintenance personnel; DOE Facility and Program personnel; and AMWTP Functional Area subject matter experts as required.
Minimum Qualification Requirements (Education/Experience):
Associate degree or equivalent plus 7 years’ relevant experience in Document Control and Configuration Management. Previous experience with Microsoft Suite, EDMS, ADEPT, Trackwise, Maximo, and other vendor data management systems.

Position Responsibilities:
- Performs mission support and configuration management for RWMC facilities and SSCs. Ensures that MCP-1450 requirements for configuration management are met at RWMC.
- Provides engineering support to ensure that engineering documentation and records are managed in compliance with requirements. Including migration of legacy drawings and documents into EDMS.
- Supports engineering assessments for various RWMC scopes of work.
- Other duties to support day to day workload of engineering group.
- Support as needed NRF D&D work as needed.
