Preschool Teacher
Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children
- Provide a nurturing and supportive environment that promotes the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and engagement
- Foster a love for learning through creative and interactive teaching methods
- Monitor and assess the progress of each child, providing individualized attention and support as needed
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that meets health and safety standards
- Organize and participate in field trips, special events, and parent-teacher conferences
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with young children
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check
