Darrell’s Appliance is looking for a career-minded, professional Appliance Service Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who is mechanically and electronically inclined, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to delivering outstanding customer service.
Work Schedule
Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Rotating Saturdays
Servicing Cache Valley, Box Elder, Rich, and Franklin Counties
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential appliances, including dishwashers, washers, dryers, ranges, ovens, microwaves, refrigerators, freezers, trash compactors, and more.
- Perform sealed system repair on refrigerators and freezers (preferred skill – additional compensation opportunity).
- Communicate effectively with customers and maintain a professional, friendly demeanor.
- Keep accurate service records and follow company procedures.
- Manage and organize assigned service van, tools, and parts inventory.
- Work independently and, at times, assist in training other team members.
REQUIREMENTS:
Required
- Mechanically and electronically inclined.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented.
- Excellent customer relations and communication skills.
- Must provide own tools (company provides service van, uniforms, and training).
- Clean, professional appearance.
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
- Ability to lift and move appliances when needed.
Preferred
- Experience in residential appliance repair (will train the right person)
- Knowledge of electronics and mechanics
- Sealed system repair experience (will train the right person)
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $35,000 – $62,400 a year (based on experience and skill level)
