Position Summary:
The Private Dining Server is responsible for delivering exceptional, personalized service to Kitchi Gammi Club members and guests in the private dining areas of the Club. This role requires a refined attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to anticipate the needs of high-end clientele while ensuring a seamless and memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide warm, professional, and anticipatory service to members and their guests in accordance with the Club's service standards.
- Set up and break down private dining rooms and function spaces to the specifications of each event or reservation.
- Present menus, explain specials, and answer questions regarding food, beverages, and wine selections with thorough product knowledge.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar.
- Monitor and respond to the needs of guests throughout service, maintaining discretion and professionalism at all times.
- Coordinate with culinary and service teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages.
- Ensure proper table settings, cleanliness, and ambiance are maintained before, during, and after service.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all Club offerings, menus, wine list, and daily specials.
- Adhere to all Club policies, health and safety regulations, and service standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy of all member interactions and Club affairs.
- Assist with other food and beverage service areas as needed.
- The Kitchi Gammi Club Serves Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner M-F, Dinner Saturday. Club is Closed on Sundays.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fine dining or private club service preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a polished and professional demeanor.
- Knowledge of wine, cocktails, and upscale cuisine.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
