American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring ACLS, PALS, and a minimum of 1 year of ED experience, with night shifts and every other weekend requirements.

Work in a fast-paced Emergency Department with 47 beds and an average daily census of 130
-
Patient population spans all age ranges from infant to geriatric, with complex and varied diagnoses
-
Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
-
Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts (19:00–07:30) with 36 or 48 hour weekly options
-
Every other weekend required
-
Holiday coverage required as scheduled

Floating required within the ED specialty

No pre-scheduled on-call requirements

Active RN license in Maryland (MD) or a Compact RN license currently in hand

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and CPI

Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience required; 2 years preferred

Strong ED skills and experience required, particularly for candidates with 1 year of experience

First-time travelers will be considered for this position with strong ED skills and experience
