About the Position
Ultimate Car Care is looking for a motivated, hardworking, and dependable entry-level team member to join our automotive repair shop.
Automotive experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person. What matters most is that you are ready to work, willing to learn, comfortable using a computer, and able to communicate professionally with customers and the shop team.
This position will work closely with the manager and technicians and will help with the day-to-day operation of the shop.
Responsibilities
- Use our POS/shop management system to create customer estimates and repair orders
- Perform and document Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs)
- Help communicate inspection results and recommended services to customers
- Assist the manager with the daily operation of the shop
- Answer phones and assist customers in person
- Help schedule appointments and manage customer vehicles
- Coordinate with technicians regarding vehicle repairs
- Review parts, labor, and repair information when preparing estimates
- Keep customer information and repair orders accurate and organized
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional shop environment
- Learn automotive systems, maintenance, and repair recommendations
- Perform other tasks necessary to help the shop run efficiently
