CJW Chimney & Fireplace is a family-owned, fully licensed and insured chimney company serving Mid-Michigan for over 20 years.
We are a rapidly growing company specializing in chimney sweeping, inspections, diagnostics, relining, repairs, masonry, gas fireplaces and fireplace installations.
We're looking for an experienced CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep to join our growing team.

What You'll Do
- Inspect, evaluate and diagnose chimneys and venting systems
- Sweep chimneys, fireplaces and wood-burning appliances
- Sweep oil flues and dryer vents
- Perform chimney inspections
- Perform chimney repairs and relining
- Install fireplaces, stoves and metal chimney systems
- Install chimney caps and chase covers
- Assist with gas fireplace and gas log installations
- Perform or assist with masonry repairs
- Educate customers regarding chimney and fireplace safety
- Complete professional documentation and job reports
- Provide excellent customer service
What We're Looking For
- CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep® certification — Required
- Valid driver's license — Required
- Previous chimney and fireplace experience
- Strong knowledge of chimney systems and safety
- Comfortable working at heights and on ladders
- Comfortable working outdoors year-round
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Dependable and professional
- Willingness to continue learning and pursue additional certifications
- Ability to work overtime during peak season
What We Offer
- Starting pay of $25.00/hour — based on experience
- $500 signing bonus after 90 days
- Time-and-a-half after 40 hours

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- 8-hour shifts
- Weekends as needed
- Overtime during peak season
License/Certification:
