Position Summary
The Psychometrist administers and scores standardized psychological and neuropsychological tests under the supervision of a licensed neuropsychologist. This position plays an essential role in obtaining accurate assessment data while ensuring patients have a positive, supportive testing experience.
The ideal candidate is personable, dependable, organized, and capable of maintaining testing fidelity and confidentiality.

Essential Responsibilities
* Administer standardized psychological and neuropsychological assessments according to standardized procedures.
* Build rapport with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults while maintaining professional boundaries.
* Observe and document patient behavior during testing.
* Score psychological and neuropsychological measures accurately.
* Review completed testing materials for completeness and quality.
* Prepare testing materials prior to evaluations.
* Assist with scheduling testing appointments.
* Maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical record.
* Ensure testing materials remain secure and confidential.
* Maintain testing rooms and assessment materials.
* Communicate professionally with patients, families, physicians, schools, and other healthcare professionals.
* Assist with quality assurance activities.
* Participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development.
* Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervising neuropsychologist.
Qualifications
Required
* Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, or closely related field.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to follow standardized testing procedures precisely.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Basic computer proficiency.
* Ability to maintain strict confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
* Reliable transportation.
Preferred
* Previous psychometrist experience.
* Experience administering psychological or neuropsychological assessments.
* Experience working with children and adults.
* Familiarity with electronic medical records.
Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate strong aptitude.
