Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related human services field; or
Associate’s degree in one of these fields plus at least 2 years of experience working with children
Strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills
A nurturing, dependable, energetic approach to working with children
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Lead a high-quality, age-appropriate classroom experience
Create and implement engaging lesson plans and learning activities
Maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-organized classroom
Support each child’s developmental needs and adjust activities as needed
Partner with families through clear, positive communication
Work closely with assistant teachers and center leadership
Follow all health, safety, licensing, and classroom-ratio requirements
