Overview
PABX Attendant
The PBX attendant provides telephone services for incoming and outgoing calls while delivering the highest level of service and courtesy.
Responsibilities
Handle all incoming and outgoing calls in a courteous and efficient manner.
Provide guests with services such as wake-ups, messages, paging in Casino, long distance assistance and other special services such as screening calls, taking, inputting and giving messages.
Assist administration in locating other personnel, taking messages, and other miscellaneous requests.
To operate the ACD console and be familiar with all alarms.
Be able to operate the TDD machine.
Inform guests of functions and facilities upon request.
Responsible for keeping own information on personnel and departments up to date.
Read all posted yellows and memos.
