We are seeking a motivated, relationship-driven External Marketing Director to oversee referral management for Allegria Village Independent and Assisted Living Communities. The Candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong referral relationships with Skilled Nursing Rehabs, Case Managers, Discharge Planners, other Assisted Living communities, Eldercare Attorneys and other healthcare providers to drive admissions and enhance our market presence.
The ideal candidate is a personable healthcare marketing professional with strong communication skills, knowledge of post-acute care and senior living, and a proven ability to increase admissions and maintain referral partnerships.
Business Development & Referral Management:
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships.
- Generate qualified referrals and admissions.
- Conduct regular visits to referral sources throughout Detroit and surrounding service areas.
- Identify new business opportunities and referral channels to support growth.
Community Outreach & Marketing:
- Represent The Village at healthcare networking events, community programs, and professional associations.
- Coordinate educational presentations and outreach initiatives.
- Arrange lunches, tours and special events for referral partners.
- Promote our programs, services, and specialty care offerings.
- Maintain a positive public image and strengthen brand awareness within the market.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of healthcare marketing, sales, admissions, business development, or related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience working with skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, rehabilitation centers, senior living, home health, or hospital systems.
- Strong understanding of post-acute care and discharge planning processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Compensation & Benefits:
- 75K base salary; Full time Monday - Friday
- Health insurance.
