Description:
As a Driver/Laborer, you'll be a vital team member responsible for the efficient, safe transportation of materials, equipment, and personnel to various locations, as well as communicating with our customers. You'll also actively participate in labor-intensive tasks related to our operational needs. Your driving ability, physical stamina, and teamwork skills will play a crucial role in our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safe Transportation: safely operate company vehicles to transport materials, equipment, and team members between job sites and designated locations; follow all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
- Loading & Unloading: load and unload equipment, materials, and tools, ensuring they're properly secured and undamaged in transit and on arrival.
- Labor Support: actively participate in labor-intensive tasks — lifting heavy objects, digging, construction support, and general maintenance.
- Customer Assistance: assist customers with delivery and job completion, including processing delivery, ticket, obtaining customer signature and/or payment.
- Equipment Maintenance: keep all assigned company assets in optimal function and appearance, and promptly report any discrepancies, malfunctions, or paperwork issues.
- Team Collaboration: work closely with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors on tasks, timelines, and challenges.
- Safety Compliance: prioritize safety at all times and report unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.
- Record Keeping: maintain accurate records of daily tasks, mileage, and vehicle/job-site paperwork.
- Adaptable Assistance: contribute to team success by assisting with various farm labor duties when not driving.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience a plus.
- Physical fitness to lift/carry 50 lbs repeatedly, bend, stand for long periods, and work outdoors in all weather.
- Strong team player who collaborates well and follows supervisor instructions.
- Excellent time management to meet deadlines and schedules.
- Safety-conscious with a thorough understanding of safety procedures.
- Flexible and willing to take on new responsibilities as needs change.
- Basic communication skills; proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude / basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting a plus.
- Reliable transportation required.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
