We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled IT Support & Operations Administrator to provide day-to-day technical support while helping maintain and improve our organization's IT infrastructure. This role combines hands-on help desk support with IT operations responsibilities, including systems administration, vendor coordination, infrastructure improvements, and technology planning. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support to employees through the IT help desk, resolving hardware, software, network, and system issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor and support the daily operations of the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring systems, servers, and networks remain reliable and secure.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, operating systems, software applications, and peripheral devices.
- Evaluate system performance and recommend improvements to increase reliability, security, and efficiency.
- Develop, document, and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Coordinate with technology vendors and service providers to ensure timely support, maintenance, and delivery of IT services.
- Assist with the evaluation, implementation, and deployment of new technologies that support business objectives.
- Work closely with department leaders to understand business needs and deliver effective technology solutions.
- Ensure IT systems and processes remain compliant with company policies and industry best practices.
- Assist with IT budgeting, asset management, and technology planning.
- Stay current on emerging technologies, cybersecurity trends, and industry best practices.
- Manage multiple IT projects and priorities while maintaining excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 2+ years of experience in an IT Help Desk, IT Support, Systems Administration, or IT Operations role.
- Experience installing, configuring, and supporting Windows-based systems, software, and hardware.
- Working knowledge of networking concepts, cloud computing platforms, and IT infrastructure.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, networking, and user account issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while meeting deadlines.
- Experience working with technology vendors and third-party service providers is a plus.
