Photographer (Seasonal August - November, with Potential for Full-Time)

Premium Pix is a family-owned photography business proudly serving the Puyallup community and surrounding areas for the last 79 years. We specialize in high-quality portraits and event photography, with a strong focus on working with children of all ages. We're currently seeking dependable, enthusiastic individuals who enjoy photography and thrive in dynamic, kid-friendly environments.
This is a seasonal position with the potential to become full-time, based on performance and business needs.
No professional photography experience is required, but a working knowledge of cameras and photography concepts is highly encouraged. All necessary equipment will be provided, along with paid training.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality photographs in fast-paced and sometimes chaotic environments
- Follow lighting, composition, and framing guidelines based on provided setups
- Interact professionally and effectively with children, parents, coworkers, and clients
- Maintain a friendly and patient demeanor with children of all ages
- Arrive on time and be reliable for all scheduled shifts
- Represent Premium Pix in a professional and courteous manner while on location
Qualifications
- Basic computer skills, including file handling and image management
- Familiarity with cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and other photography tools is a plus
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 30–40 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
