Compensation

$25/hour: This is an in-office position, approximately 20 hours/week. Work hours may be flexible within standard business hours.

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to provide essential support across our operations, with a strong focus on accounting functions. Reporting directly to the Controller, you will play a key role in maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and organization in our day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Support day‑to‑day accounts payable activities, including reviewing, coding, and entering vendor invoices in the ERP system
Prepare vendor payments and ensure transactions follow established approval processes
Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and supporting documentation
Contribute to a collaborative, cross‑trained team environment by providing coverage, supporting teammates, and taking on additional responsibilities as team needs evolve

Qualifications and Skills

Education & Experience – 2-3 years of relevant experience or a bachelor’s degree
Technical Skills – Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, advanced Excel skills required
AI Tools – Comfortable using AI-powered tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot/ChatGPT) to increase efficiency while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
Analytical Mindset – Ability to manage financial reporting and data entry with accuracy
Strong Communication – Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Organized & Detail-Oriented – Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight
