General Superintendent – Demolition & Structural Carpentry

An established Connecticut contractor specializing in demolition, structural modifications, selective demolition, and commercial carpentry is seeking an experienced General Superintendent to oversee field operations across multiple projects.

What You'll Be Doing
- Provide overall field leadership for multiple demolition and structural carpentry projects throughout Connecticut.
- Mentor and support Superintendents while ensuring projects remain on schedule, on budget, and safely executed.
- Coordinate manpower, equipment, subcontractors, and self-perform crews across several active jobs.
- Partner with Project Managers to develop construction strategies and sequencing plans.
- Lead project planning meetings and proactively resolve field challenges.
- Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Ensure quality control, production goals, and company safety standards are consistently achieved.
- Travel between active projects to support field teams and maintain operational excellence.

What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of construction field leadership experience.
- Previous experience as a Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, or General Superintendent.
- Strong background in demolition, structural carpentry, commercial renovations, or self-perform construction.
- Experience managing multiple active projects and supervising field leadership teams.
- Excellent planning, scheduling, and organizational skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- OSHA certification preferred.
