The RCO Engineering team is looking for an energetic organized Seating Engineer who can provide leadership and technical problem solving skills to our expanding engineering team.
Core Responsibilities
- The ability to scope new projects from start to finish, define action plans, and develop unique solutions to bring ideas to reality.
- Work with the CAD Design Team to start and evolve seating related 3D CAD solutions.
- Creative mindset to pioneer new solutions to meet and exceed customer requirements.
- The ability to lead engineering solutions and prototype builds.
- Understand seat structural design, CAE and validation testing/certification.
- Ability to keep the joint RCO team on track to meet all program milestones.
- Ability and confidence to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of Management internally and with our diverse customer base.
- Lead Engineering related face to face and Teams based meetings between customers and RCO team members and be able to lead the customer to a solution.
- Maintain, track, and work to close-out open items lists.
- Coordinate and manage prototype property builds and root cause technical issues.
- The aptitude and ability to multitask while working on multiple projects which may have various timelines and associated deliverables.
A positive can-do attitude to support RCO Engineering leadership as necessary to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Requirements
- 3-5 years of engineering experience. 3 years of seating related experience.
- Related work experience in the Automotive, Defense, and/or Aerospace Industry.
- A Bachelor Degree in Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
