What We Need
We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team and serve as a cross-functional business partner across the organization. This role goes well beyond traditional reporting: you will own and drive high-impact analytical initiatives spanning pricing, cost optimization, vendor spend, revenue assurance, and board-level reporting. It is ideal for a highly analytical problem-solver who doesn't just resolve issues but identifies and fixes their underlying causes. You will work directly with the VP of Finance and partner closely with Revenue Operations, Accounting, and business leaders across our brands. This role is based out of our Scottsdale, AZ office.
What You'll Do
-
Financial modeling and forecasting support. Contribute to financial models, forecasting, and month-end variance analysis, continuously improving the underlying processes.
-
Board reporting preparation. Prepare and maintain board and investor reporting packages, including the supporting analysis and commentary behind key financial and operational metrics.
-
Revenue assurance and reporting. Ensure revenue is billed, recognized, and collected completely and accurately; identify and investigate revenue leakage; and partner with Revenue Operations and Accounting to close gaps.
-
Cost savings initiatives. Identify, quantify, and help drive cost-reduction opportunities across the business; build the business case and track realized savings against it.
-
Vendor spend monitoring and optimization. Own vendor spend management through Spendhound - track spend, contracts, and renewals; surface consolidation and savings opportunities; and manage the renewal calendar to prevent auto-renewal leakage.
-
Process improvement and root-cause problem solving. Diagnose the underlying drivers behind financial and operational issues and drive durable fixes rather than one-off patches.
-
Special projects. Support ad hoc financial analysis and cross-functional initiatives as priorities evolve.
Requirements
Experience
-
1-3 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or a comparable analytical role. Direct FP&A experience is a plus but not required - we are looking for demonstrated analytical ability and a track record of digging into problems.
-
BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
-
Strong working knowledge of financial systems; experience with NetSuite strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required. Exposure to Claude CoWork, Power BI, Salesforce, or HubSpot is a plus.
-
A structured, resourceful approach to open-ended problems - able to take an ambiguous question, break it down, and work it to a clear answer.
Skills and Competencies
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify root causes rather than treat symptoms.
-
Ability to work independently and translate financial and operational data into clear, actionable insight.
-
Comfort operating with ambiguity and taking ownership of loosely defined problems.
-
Ability to communicate effectively across teams and present to leadership.
