Job Overview
Cambay Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Occupational Health for a 13-week travel contract in Rochester, NY. This position focuses on employee health services and pre-employment medical assessments in a fast-paced occupational health setting. The ideal candidate will be organized, adaptable, and able to work independently while providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct employee health and pre-employment medical assessments.
- Review medical histories and health records.
- Administer required immunizations and vaccinations.
- Collect blood titers and urine drug screening specimens.
- Perform TB assessments and respirator fit testing.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical documentation.
- Educate employees regarding occupational health requirements.
- Follow infection prevention and workplace safety protocols.
- Float to other WorkReady locations as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and occupational health staff.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- AHA BLS Certification (Required).
- Minimum 1 year of Occupational Health, Employee Health, or related nursing experience.
- Experience with immunizations, blood draws, TB testing, urine drug collections, and health assessments preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, flexible, punctual, and a strong team player.
