Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role is crucial in ensuring that our guests receive a memorable dining experience while maintaining the highest standards of service and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
- Oversee the flow of service during busy periods to maintain efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and adherence to food handling standards.
- Train and mentor new employees on service protocols, menu knowledge, and company policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, bar, and waiting areas.
- Monitor inventory levels for front-of-house supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Implement promotional events or specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality management with experience in fine dining or the food industry preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including point-of-sale systems and reservation management.
- Previous experience in food service or as a cook is advantageous but not required.
- A passion for coffee culture or knowledge of coffee preparation is a plus.
