Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and other preventive services
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues across a range of vehicle systems
- Use diagnostic equipment, schematics, hand tools, and power tools effectively and safely
- Inspect vehicle performance and recommend needed repairs or maintenance
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area
- Provide your own tools required to perform the job
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician or in a similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including powertrain components
- Proficiency in vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repair
- Familiarity with auto estimating software is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently with a wide range of hand tools and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and solid problem-solving skills
- Professional communication skills and the ability to work well with co-workers
- Experience with automotive air conditioning systems, or willingness to learn
- State Inspector certification, or willingness to obtain it
- Valid driver’s license required
