The HR Technology Analyst works with business functions and IT to implement new functionality for our HR systems. You provide continuous functional leadership in the evaluation, design, development, testing, implementation, support and coordination of enterprise-wide HR software. You also ensure integration of HR systems with various internal and external systems. You support the HR department in its use of technology to drive business results. You are responsible for the security, functionality and data integrity of HR systems, including Peoplesoft & Dayforce, compensation, applicant tracking and base benefits modules. The Analyst bridges HR operations and technology, ensuring HR systems, tools, and processes are effective, efficient, and aligned with business goals.
Position Responsibilities:
- Design, test, implement, document and maintain the HR system.
- Work with end users and other business stakeholders to fully understand evolving needs and challenges.
- Perform quality-assurance testing of all production jobs, reports and processes including development of testing tools for new applications or processes.
- Create and produce ad hoc reports (new hire statistics, turnover statistics, data trends, etc.) and quarterly reports (turnover analysis reports and ethnicity analysis reports).
- Ensure data integrity and run regular edits of the HR system.
- Administer HR system security, including ensure proper approval for all security additions and access level updates, and maintain log of all security changes.
- Provide day-to-day HR systems support to internal HR users and remote facilities.
- Serve as first point of contact for users experiencing HR systems issues.
- Coordinate and deliver training to all end users.
- Prepare, maintain and update HR system documentation and reference materials for HR end users.
- Support our Applicant Tracking System, including administration and reporting.
Position Requirements:
- Strong understanding of HR systems and technology, including Peoplesoft and Dayforce
- Ability to read and write complex reports.
- Strong project management, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and initiative to improve processes.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems required (i.e., Brass Ring, iCims, etc.).
- Requires attention to detail, adaptability to changing technology needs, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate system performance and recommend solutions.
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools (e.g., Power BI), and system configuration.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture, security, and data governance principles
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of Dayforce a plus.
This is hybrid role requiring approx. 3 days in our Westbury, NY office.
An employee in this position can expect an annual starting rate of $75,000 - $90,000 depending on experience, seniority, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law.
