Position Summary
We are seeking a Project Manager to support a complex, multi-year operational integration initiative within a highly regulated environment. This role will focus on bringing structure, clarity and alignment to information coming from multiple operational teams as the organization works toward a future-state operating model.
This is not a traditional project management role centered on managing budgets or detailed project schedules. The priority is someone who excels at listening, facilitating, documenting and synthesizing complex information. You'll participate in operational discussions, identify decisions and dependencies, and turn fragmented inputs into clear roadmaps and actionable plans.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable navigating ambiguity and skilled at working across multiple stakeholder groups.
Key Responsibilities
-
Participate in operational planning meetings and capture key decisions, requirements, actions and dependencies.
-
Facilitate information gathering across operational teams and subject matter experts.
-
Synthesize information from multiple stakeholders into clear, structured plans and roadmaps.
-
Help define and organize the scope of work required to integrate operational systems and processes.
-
Support the harmonization of policies, procedures, manuals and operating documentation across the organization.
-
Identify system, process and operational changes that may result from harmonization efforts.
-
Develop and maintain operational roadmaps, work plans and supporting documentation.
-
Identify gaps, dependencies, risks and areas requiring additional decisions or clarification.
-
Coordinate across stakeholder groups to establish ownership, timing and next steps.
-
Provide leadership with clear visibility into progress, outstanding decisions and upcoming priorities.
-
Help move planning efforts from individual conversations and workstreams into a cohesive integration strategy.
Required Qualifications
-
Experience supporting complex operational planning, organizational transformation or integration initiatives.
-
Demonstrated ability to gather information from multiple stakeholders and translate it into clear, actionable plans.
-
Strong facilitation, documentation and meeting-management skills.
-
Experience developing roadmaps, work plans, operating models or similar planning artifacts.
-
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-
Ability to identify and clearly document dependencies, decisions, ownership and next steps.
-
Ability to work effectively in an environment where requirements and plans continue to evolve.
-
Strong judgment and ability to work independently while collaborating with a broad group of stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations or other large-scale organizational transformations.
-
Experience working within aviation, transportation or another highly regulated industry.
-
Experience supporting operational or systems harmonization efforts.
-
Experience working across geographically dispersed teams or business units.
What Success Looks Like
You'll thrive in this role if you're someone who can enter a meeting with multiple stakeholders, competing priorities and incomplete information and leave with a clear understanding of what was decided, what still needs to be resolved, who owns what and how the pieces fit together.
Success will require curiosity, strong listening skills and the ability to ask thoughtful questions that uncover gaps or dependencies. You'll be comfortable working through ambiguity and will bring structure without adding unnecessary process. Most importantly, you'll help transform a complex collection of operational workstreams into a roadmap that leaders and teams can understand and act on.
Why Join This Opportunity
This is an opportunity to contribute to a highly visible, complex operational integration with a long-term transformation horizon. You'll work across operational teams, gain exposure to enterprise-level integration planning and play an important role in creating the structure and roadmap that will guide the organization toward its future operating model.
