The Aging and Disability Services Division (ADSD) is currently recruiting for a Health Care Coordinator 4 in Reno, Nevada. This recruitment may be used to fill current and future vacancies as they occur in the following program: Home and Community Based Services (HCBS). This is a supervisory position that will manage a team consisting of case managers and administrative assistant(s). The position will oversee the team to ensure case management tasks and administrative tasks are completed within required timeframes, so program services are established and monitored for program recipients. The supervisor will provide coaching, discipline and performance management, will also develop a productive relationship and open communication with support and supervisor staff and sister agencies. This position will complete the duties and tasks of staff during extended absences, staff vacancies and other unforeseen circumstances. The incumbent will be knowledgeable of interpreting and applying program procedures, policies and methods to train and educate staff. Review, respond and/or complete any reports, program inquiries within required timeframes. Communicate any program issues to designated upper management. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Licensure as a Social Worker or professional licensure or certification in a medical specialty applicable to the assignment, and three years of experience providing case management services in a social or health related field, one year of which included the interpretation and application of Medicaid policies and procedures, coordinating reviews and services, training staff and reviewing complex cases; OR licensure and an equivalent combination of education and experience.
