Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students while working in a supportive, collaborative environment. We are seeking dedicated school psychologists to serve on-site across five campuses, primarily supporting elementary-aged children with occasional middle school cases. This contract position begins August 10, 2026, and runs through May 21, 2027, offering a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week.
Key Qualifications:
- Active License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist Credentialed by the Board of Examiners of Psychologists
- Experience in school-based settings is highly valued
- Bilingual skills in Spanish and English are a major plus
- Strong background in evaluations and services for Autism (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), and Other Health Impairments (OHI, including ADHD)
- Comfortable with functional behavioral assessments (FBAs) and developing/implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Adaptability for itinerant work, traveling between multiple school campuses
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and generate individualized recommendations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement evidence-based interventions
- Support positive behavioral outcomes through FBAs, BIPs, and direct mental health services
- Engage with parents, educators, and administrators to foster student growth and development
- Provide professional insight for eligibility and placement determinations within special education
