Job Title: Floor Nurse (RN or LPN)
Shift: 12 hours Day 7am-7pm and 12 hours Night 7pm to 7am
Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Floor Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility team in Florida. The Floor Nurse is responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents, supervising CNAs, administering medications and treatments, and ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes to physicians and supervisors
- Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
- Complete accurate and timely documentation
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
- Ensure compliance with Florida state regulations and facility policies
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN or LPN license (required)
- Active Florida RN or RN license (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor
