Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Skid Steer and Mini Excavator Operator who can also safely drive trucks and load/unload equipment. This is a key role on our production crews working on residential and light commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate skid steer loaders and mini excavators for excavation, grading, material handling, and hardscape/landscape installation.
- Safely load and offload equipment and materials using trailers and flatbeds.
- Drive company trucks (non-CDL) to and from job sites.
- Work as part of a crew on patios, retaining walls, drainage, site prep, and other outdoor construction projects.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic daily maintenance.
- Follow safety protocols and represent T-Scape professionally on job sites.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of professional experience operating skid steers and mini excavators (e.g., Toro Dingo, Bobcat, Kubota, etc.).
- Experience driving dump trucks, flatbeds, or equipment trailers is a big plus.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (New England seasons).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Clean driving record and background check.
