We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Upholstery Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing and restoration team. Responsibilities
- Reupholster restaurant booths or custom items using various fabric materials with precision and care.
- Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, power tools, sewing machines, and manual cutting equipment to cut fabrics and assemble components
- Repair or replace damaged upholstery parts, including padding, springs, fabric coverings, and wood frames
- Perform heavy lifting safely when handling large furniture during reupholstering or assembly processes
- Maintain quality standards by inspecting finished work for attention to detail and durability
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, sewing machines, and manual cutting equipment
- Ability to use a tape measure
- Experience with woodworking or construction work is a plus.
- Excellent manual handling skills with an emphasis on safety during heavy lifting or repetitive tasks
