Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Manager. Reporting to the Principal Investigator, the Project Manager will manage the MOSAAIC study, a research cohort focused on the Asian American community. Primary responsibilities include overseeing recruitment, informed consent, and the logistics of biospecimen and questionnaire collection. The Project Manager will maintain IRB documentation, conduct EMR reviews, and collaborate across clinical and research teams. Beyond study coordination, the role provides administrative oversight for personnel functions and database management. This position includes the direct supervision of four research staff members.
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelors degree and 4 years of relevant research coordination experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and project management skills.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse study populations.
Demonstrated ability to manage participant communications with professionalism, patience, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in public health or a related field.
Experience managing large cohort studies or population-based research.
Prior supervisory or team leadership experience.
Familiarity with REDCap or similar research data systems.
Experience working with diverse populations, including Asian American communities.
Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $70,481.61 – $121,580.64 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
