Alongside our Texas Medical Center location, our team continues to grow and is seeking experienced Client Services Representatives who thrive in a fast-paced specialty environment focused on exceptional patient care, client communication, advanced diagnostics, and collaborative medicine.
Our hospital specializes in medical oncology, surgical oncology, and advanced specialty medicine. While we are not a traditional emergency hospital, we are expanding services with the upcoming launch of our overnight urgent referral program focused on oncology-referred and established patients requiring urgent medical evaluation, hospitalization, and overnight monitoring.
Job Description:
The Overnight Specialty Client Services Representative (CSR) plays a vital role in supporting overnight hospital operations by serving as a primary point of contact for clients, referring veterinarians, and the medical team. This position is responsible for coordinating communication, assisting with urgent referral workflow, supporting hospitalized specialty patients, and helping create a calm, compassionate, and professional client experience during emotionally difficult and medically urgent situations.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced specialty environment and is able to set a positive tone while managing appointments, expediting requests, and serving as a liaison between clients and the medical team. Strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential.
Qualifications:
- Previous veterinary CSR experience required
- Specialty, emergency, or advanced GP experience preferred
- Experience with veterinary practice software and merchant processing systems preferred
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable working overnight shifts in a specialty hospital environment
- Dependable, organized, and able to prioritize tasks independently
- Ability to work collaboratively with ICU, surgery, oncology, and overnight teams
