We are looking for a few dedicated and highly skilled Lab Service Technicians to join our small but mighty team at Any Lab Test Now. Openings available in both KC Metro locations: Overland Park, KS and Independence, MO.
Full Time schedule includes weekday and weekend hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:00, and Saturday 9:00-12:00. Part time regular schedule is 2-3 days per week.
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Phlebotomy certification (required) or actively pursuing it
- CNA or CMA (medical assistant) certification is a plus
- Previous phlebotomy experience is preferred
- EXCELLENT communication skills - in person, written, and on the phone
- Good bedside manner and the ability to speak to patients knowledgeably, with a focus on recommending suitable lab tests based on needs assessment
- Experience and comfortability with TECHNOLOGY: lab ordering platforms, lab test directories, EMRs, electronic faxing, Google suite; comfortable troubleshooting technical issues, printers, portals, and logins
- Desire to work independently and as part of a small team
- Must be a quick learner and take OWNERSHIP of your work
- Must have reliable transportation, and be a reliable person. If you say you're going to do something, it gets done!
- Spanish language skills are a plus
- Previous DOT certification is a plus, but DOT training and certification provided on the job
- Must have a good attitude, this is a customer-facing role
- Sales experience a plus

Responsibilities include:
- Patient registration, appointment scheduling, and lab test administration
- Upholding the highest standards of customer service while assisting patients
- Take payment, accurately record sales transactions and appointment details in several software platforms
- Performing venipuncture blood draws
- Collecting UA (urine analysis) samples
- Collecting DNA and other specimen samples
- Specimen processing: including labelling, sealing, and proper documentation and packaging of specimens
- Processing and distributing lab results to patients and physician partners in a timely and HIPAA-compliant manner
- Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
