Summary: We are seeking a passionate Substitute Cosmetology Instructor to join our team at the Alexander Paul Institute of Hair Design.
As a Substitute Cosmetology Instructor, you will be responsible for overseeing Cosmetology Students in our Student Salon who perform salon services on the public.
When a regularly scheduled instructor is out, we post the shifts in our scheduling app and substitute instructors are able to pick up the shifts depending on their availability. Sometimes these shifts are available with plenty of notice such as when an instructor has a planned vacation or maternity leave. Sometimes, they are short notice, such as when an instructor is sick.
The goal of this position is to become a licensed instructor with higher pay. While you serve as a substitute, you can train to receive your Cosmetology Instructor License.
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
