Overview
The Blue Giraffe Day Spa and Salon is looking for a Front Desk Associate to join our team! This role is very involved with accurate cash handling, knowledge of all spa services and excellent communication with all team members, and clients, required. Many benefits come with this position as we are aware that it is more challenging than other front desk positions. Training is paid and provided. We expect:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression
- Manage phone systems, handling incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars efficiently
- Understand technician, client and spa scheduling needs
- Take detailed and accurate notes for exceptional client care and coordination
- Learn from the inevitable mistakes, be willing to hear feedback and grow
- Adhere to company policies
You must have:
- Strong phone etiquette with excellent verbal communication skills
- A friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with clients and team members
- Attention to detail to accurately book, check-out and communicate with staff and clientele
- Willingness to learn and evolve
- Ability to stay calm and deescalate agitated clients
- HIPPA Certification (provided in first week of training)
- Reliably commute to work in Ashland, OR
