Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial, industrial, and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards, local codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC), and project specifications. Responsibilities
- Direct small to medium size commercial projects
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Collaborate with construction teams on site to ensure seamless integration of electrical components during renovation or new construction projects.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections for compliance purposes.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience (4-5 years minimum) with electrical systems on commercial construction sites, including blueprint reading and schematics interpretation.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, power meters (including Ohmmeters), and testing equipment.
- Knowledge of NEC standards, high voltage and low voltage wiring practices, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces while maintaining safety standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and project managers effectively.

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
