Role- Techno-functional Manager
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)
Experience: 8–10 Years
Client-focused Techno-Functional Manager with 8–10 years of experience to bridge business and technology teams. The ideal candidate will have domain expertise in Logistics, Transportation, Sustainability, Waste Management, Environmental Services, or Utilities and the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at both business and technical levels.
The role requires a strong understanding of enterprise application architecture, system integrations, APIs, cloud technologies, AI platforms, and digital transformation initiatives to help translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions. The successful candidate will combine consulting, business analysis, and technology expertise to drive solution design and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with client business and IT stakeholders to understand business objectives and define technology solutions.
- Lead discovery sessions, requirements gathering, business process analysis, and solution workshops.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with solution architects, development, QA, and project teams to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions.
- Participate in solution design discussions involving enterprise applications, integrations, cloud, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI, Generative AI, automation, and analytics to improve business processes and operational efficiency.
- Support Agile delivery, UAT, release planning, and production issue resolution.
- Build trusted client relationships through effective communication, stakeholder management, and regular project updates.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8–10 years of experience in Business Analysis, Functional Consulting, Product Ownership, or Techno-Functional roles.
- Strong client-facing experience with the ability to communicate effectively with business leaders, architects, and engineering teams.
- Good understanding of enterprise application architecture, APIs, system integrations, cloud platforms, and modern software ecosystems.
- Exposure to AI and Generative AI concepts and their application in solving business problems.
- Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

- AI/Generative AI platforms and tools such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, Google Vertex AI, Amazon Bedrock, or similar.
- Familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Semantic Kernel) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts is a plus.
- Knowledge of ETRM (Energy Trading & Risk Management) platforms is a plus.
- Experience with PowerOptix/PowerOptics or similar utility/work management applications is an advantage.
- SQL and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Exposure to Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSM, CSPO, Microsoft AI, Azure AI, or equivalent are desirable.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
