Description
We are seeking an energetic and organized Systems Engineer (Mid-Level) to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will contribute across the full lifecycle of complex systems — from architectural design and integration through deployment and sustainment.
You will play a key role in ensuring technical architectures are robust, scalable, and aligned with program objectives. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers, interface with stakeholders, and make a meaningful impact on high-priority initiatives. Responsibilities
Contribute to the architectural design and integration of complex, enterprise-level systems
Develop and maintain project documentation including system specifications, design documents, and test plans
Track and manage technical tasks, milestones, and deliverables
Support implementation of infrastructure management and automation strategies
Serve as a technical liaison between engineering teams and program leadership
Assist in ensuring system designs align with operational and performance requirements
Skills Requirements
3+ years of experience in a systems engineering role
Knowledge of systems engineering principles, standards, and the full system development lifecycle
Experience with network profiling, fingerprinting, and security principles
Demonstrated ability to manage and organize technical tasks and priorities
Experience contributing to the design or architecture of IT systems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills within collaborative engineering environments
Nice to Haves
Previous leadership or team coordination experience
Experience with web hosting or monitoring solutions
Familiarity with serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda) and/or containerization (e.g., Docker)
Background in mobile technology systems or infrastructure
Experience working within Agile or DevOps environments
Relevant professional certifications
Compensation & Employment Policy
Salary is determined by multiple factors including location, education, experience, skills, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $130,000 – $165,000 (annualized USD).
