Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team! Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Handle cash transactions, perform cashiering duties, and manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in nightlife or nightclub settings.
- Assist with food service or catering events when needed, including banquet or special event setups.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure prompt service without compromising quality or safety.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant, nightclub, or hospitality setting; fine dining experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math for sales transactions, and accurate measurement of ingredients.
- Ability to multitask efficiently while managing time during busy hours.
- Previous banquet or catering experience is desirable but not required.
